New Hope Ortho-Bionomy

Mind at Ease, Body at Ease, Spirit at Ease

Ortho-Bionomy® helps people break the cycle of pain – without creating pain. Sometimes the body’s natural ability to remain balanced is short-circuited by stress, injury, accident, improper posture, emotional experiences or overtaxing the body’s limits.

When the body is out of balance, it adapts as well as it can, but in the process it may create patterns of even greater stress. The simplicity of Ortho-Bionomy means the practitioner and client may work together to re-educate dysfunctional patterns and restore normal functioning.

The founder of Ortho-Bionomy, Arthur Lincoln Pauls, D.O., believed that the body has an innate intelligence that knows how to self-correct.  Ortho-Bionomy’s positions are meant to engage that capacity. Often, this is achieved by observing and exaggerating what the client is already doing in their body.  Ortho-Bionomy also compassionately engages the energetic patterns that bring body, mind and spirit into harmony.

Ortho-Bionomy is a very innovative system for dealing with mysterious symptoms or conditions that elude successful treatment.  It allows for a sophisticated analysis of the different dimensions and levels of body, mind and spirit, and uses a natural approach to balance and synchronize the client toward optimum health and pain-free living. The work is exploratory, improvisational and intuitive.
